South african gospel singer Deborah Fraser is back with a new album called Uhambo. The 14 track album was released earlier this year and since then Deborah has been busy performing around the country.
Deborah Fraser hails from a township called Kwa-Mashu in Durban,KZN though she is currently based in Gauteng. She has always loved music & worked as a backing vocalist since 1986 for local and International artists such as Bra Hugh ,Jon Secada,Jennifer Rush, Brenda Fassie, Rebecca Malope,Yvonne Chaka Chaka etc. She released her first solo gospel album later called Abanye Bayombona which launched her to success.
Uhambo was produced by the very talented producer Nqubeko Mbatha. She has been recognize for her talent over the years with various awards like a SAMA, Metro FM Music Awards, Crown Gospel Award & Kora All Africa Awards. Her newly released long awaited album ‘Uhambo’ is her 8th album as a solo musician. The album Uhambo speaks of her journey in life and music. The album is available at most reliable music stores.
