Daniel’s prayer plan challange

Prayer and Worship

From your mouth to God’s ears. Daniel’s fasting is one of the most popular types of fastings and now the same bible text has inspired the Daniel’s prayer plan found in the book of Daniel cheaper 6. Prayer is a very important part of a believers life, it is a time when we talk to God and worship. In prayer we can pour out our hearts to him and strengthen our relationship with him.

Sometimes we allow our prayers to be interrupted by our busy schedules or even by life’s challenges. My brother or sister make a decision to pray more regularly, for prayer is your direct line to God.

Daniel’s Prayer plan is about learning from Daniel on setting time aside and regularly make an appointment to pray to the Lord just like in the Daniel 6: 10.

“But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Although the King had signed the law against praying to God, Daniel ignored this command. He did not allow the pressures from the King to disrupt his prayer life. Instead he continued to pray three times a day as he always had. Daniel had a disciplined prayer life. He made up his mind and his heart that he will praise Lord. That is why he ended up growing from strength to strength in his walk with God despite the many challanges. He was able pass through very tough times but he became more courageous each time. God favoured him and he was later appointed to the highest office in the land.

Challange your faith, challange yourself to grow and start next week to pray at least 1 once a day, then 2 times a day then the next week 3 times day and see your faith being transformed from strength to strength!
