God is with us always

 God is with us, his name is Emmanuel.There were three men called Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who lived in Babylon a land that was filled with idol worship. These men refused to bow down to any other gods but only to the true God. Because they stood for something many hated, plotted against them and had them thrown in a burning fire.
They were never deterred by the fire set before them in fact they saw death to be a much better option then to live a life of worshiping false gods. This is the courage of people who know their God, who understand his power and believe in his existence. These men had no worries, they even said in Daniel 3 verse 17

“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

It’s as though they looked at the fire before them and looked at their God and saw no comparison. They drew from the knowledge they had of God, all the miracles He done for Israel before and all that He is and gained courage to stand to face the fire.
Their enemies even made the fire 7 times hotter but it did not burn them. You see when you stand up for God he will stand up for you too. When you persevere even in the shadow of death, surely goodness & mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. He showed up & showed off his power.

These men were in the fire and God joined them in there as the fourth man in the fire. They stood and watched for them to burn to death but they didn’t burn they were just walking inside the fire. Our enemies marvel that we are still alive after all the traps, poison, lies, pain or humiliation they setup for us. It is amazing that when you stand in the Word of God you survive in situations that were meant to bury or even kill you. There is a better day, there is way out, there is a way through and it’s in God. For any obstacle in your life invite God, read his Word, pray and have faith. He said he will never leave you or forsake you. In 2 Corinthians 1:20 he says His promised are Yes and Amen. If God is for us who can be against us? Every knee bows at the name of Jesus that has been exhaled above all. God is with us, his name is Emmanuel.
