Pastor Zondo Has Risen Above IT All – We are glad he has started to minister gain at conferences and sometimes ministers on KwaZulu Natal based Vuma fm and on some occasions in iGagasi fm. It’s been over a year since the Pastor S Zondo video scandal broke out. Many condemned him, while others pleaded for him not to be judged harshly. Now that all has died down we miss Pastor Zondo. This Man of God had a way of reaching out into someone’s spirit and revive it with his motivation.
The impact made by Pastor Sthembiso Zondo with his Zero to Hero motivational campaign can not be denied. He used public platforms such radio ie UKhozi fm, igagasi fm, Vuma fm ect , social media and conferences to preach a message of hope and restoration to people through Jesus Christ. He was more popular for his segment on the Ukhozi fm morning show where he spoke words that spiritually empowered and healed many.
Zondo came from humble beginnings himself and said that is why he is able to relate to so many people who feel defeated by this world. He was also at some point a street kid in Durban, Umlazi and become born again christian through tent crusades called “God’s Army” hosted by the late NJ Sithole. He served under NJ Sithole for a while then later opened his own church in Durban.
He had recently been divorced from his wife when a leaked video of him naked in front of a girl almost broke the internet. The SABC later suspended his daily motivation segment on Ukhozi fm. Many were shocked and disappointed at both Zondo and the lady who leaked the video. He was reported to have taken off a few months from preaching and dedicated himself to prayer and fasting after his scandal. In an interview he said that he was glad that this happened to him because people will know of God’s grace & mercy through him.
According to his Facebook fan page he has started doing public sermons & appearances again, is it too soon? Can we forgive him, can he rise above all this and serve again? May the good Lord redeem & save his soul, I think this generation needs people with a message like his.
Remember God disciples those he loves and raises them up gain, Hebrews 12:6-7
“MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; 6FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.” 7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline.
