Congratulations to South African Gospel Artist Winnie Mashaba who recieved her Doctrate degree ealier in November from Trinity Bible University. Winnie Mashaba who is a Singer and a songwriter took to social media to share the good news with her support and freinds. With over 20 years in the Gospel Music industry, all the hard word, late nights and dedication to the craft and passion for the Kingdom has been recognised. Multi-Award winning Winnie Mashaba has added another title and we can now refer to her as Dr Winnie Mashaba.

It is indeed an honor to be amongst those who are selected by Trinity international Bible University to be honored as a Doctor of Philosophy in Sacred music. When it started I have never felt or had pressure to compete with anyone until today. My focus was to focus on the love and to feed the passion that kept burning me to the extend that i would create time and space to visit Correctional centers, orphanage homes , people who live with disabilities, old age homes, hospitals, schools etc.. just to sing and give motivation where is due. And all of this kept me alive in my spirit. ( 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being[a] might boast in the presence of God) I will always remember my mother in a happy and a blessed way and wish she was here to witness this historic moment of my life. But my message to her is that, “ Mama even if you are now resting in a peaceful place called heaven, just know that your seed will always produce the best because you taught us that without God we are nothing. Thank you for raising us under the great Spiritual leadership of St Engenas ZCC that played a major role of teaching us to live in peace and respect with everyone all the time. That Spirit of Ubuntu you have always preached about, it will blossom until we meet again Mama. I love you Malebo Kgadi ya Banareng. My humble thank you to all the Prophesors who saw it proper to honor me, it is indeed a humbling moment of lifetime. ( Psalm 118:21-24 21 I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.)
