Mmatema and Hubby expecting their first baby
Whew! Itโs been an exciting few years for Mmatema Moreni.
As if all that wasnโt enough to keep her busy, in February this year, Mmatema married music producer Tshepo Gavu in a beautiful ceremony in Moletlane. (Check out her public Instagram to see her wedding dress: https://www.instagram.com/mmatema_/)
In 2014, she joined the Tshwane Gospel Choir and performed a song to demand that the Nigerian government rescue the hundreds of young girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.
The very next year, Mmatema nearly won South African Idols. That lead to her signing her first record contract.
She put on a show at the South African State Theatre in 2016, not to mention that sheโs also performed at the Mapungubwe Arts Festival, the Scotland Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the Annual Winter Gospel Explosion.
And now Mmatema has revealed to the world that sheโs pregnant. Hereโs her announcement:
Jeremiah 29:11. โFor (only) He has good plans for us, plans to help us prosper and give us a great futureโ. God is faithful and has once again made a way for us. Thank you lord. My husband and I couldnโt be happier and so grateful to God for entrusting us with such a gift.โ
