Pastor Mboro and His Bodyguard Get Bail
In the case of Pastor Mboro (56) and his bodyguard, Clement Camllot Baloyi, the court has decided to let them go on bail. Pastor Mboro had to pay R3,000, but his bodyguard only got a warning. They were arrested because people said they were trying to scare someone.
Pastor Mboro’s lawyer, Phillip Dlamini, said they believe Pastor Mboro didn’t do anything wrong and that they had a strong case. He was sure that Mboro would get bail.

The Court’s Decision
On Thursday, during a short court session, the state (the people in charge of the case) said they wouldn’t stop Mboro and his bodyguard from getting bail. But they asked for some strict rules to be added to the bail.
The lawyer also told the court that Mboro could only afford R3,000 for bail, while they asked for free bail for his bodyguard, Baloyi. Mboro’s lawyer said that Mboro is just a regular person and couldn’t pay more than that.
Mboro’s Response
After getting out of jail, Mboro spoke to the media. He said that his grandchildren’s family on their mother’s side has been causing him problems. He said he did what he did for his son, who lost his wife. The children’s grandparents took them away from his son.
What Happens Next?
Mboro is facing 12 charges, including kidnapping and having a dangerous weapon. He will have to go back to court on October 21 to face these charges.
