The Gospel singer Ayanda Ntanzi had almost everyone talking after his incredible performance at the Durban ICC. He hosted a 4 hour one-man show on Saturday the 13th of July, 2024, where he launched new music while also performing fan favorites from previous albums.

He set the bar really high by making a grand entrance by levitating from the ICC ceiling to the stage, which left the crowd in awe. South Africans have since been buzzing about it on social media even inviting critics to have opinions on it.

Ayanda Ntanzi Responds After Blacklash
Ayanda Ntanzi addressed the buzz on social media, saying, people should let him praise God in his own way and asked for mutual respect for each talent in the way God has blessed us.
“People should let me praise God in my own way. Donβt judge my performances and say I lack the Holy Spirit. Letβs respect each other and show our talents the way God has blessed us.β
His flying act isn’t new to concerts around the world, even here in South Africa. Artists like Makhadzi , Cassper Nyovest and Khuzani Mpungose have done similar things before including international artists like Chris Brown.
It looks like Ayanda’s One Man show will be remembered for a long time, and he’s definitely made a big impression across South Africa all the way from Durban!
Ayanda spoke about the buzzing reactions after a couple of day as his One Man Show concert faced some backlash. He laughed about it saying he is looking for a new church that will allow him to make his entrance from the roof when he visits but some now scared to invite him.
Ayanda further shut down speculations about any demonic ties in his performance and allegedly threaten legal actions for false claims by a popular TilTok self proclaimed prophetess.
