Pastor Touré Roberts and Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts Kicked Off Activate South Africa Tour in Cape Town

Pastors Touré Roberts and Sarah Jakes Roberts, the well-known American pastors, started their South African tour this past weekend in Cape Town. Their “Activate SA” tour from 1st to the 4th of August 2024 created quite a buzz.

The event line up also included local gospel personalities Rorisang Thandekiso, Mmatema Moremi Mrs G, Yanga to name a few who shared the stage with the gospel power couples.

The pastors had stops planned in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Sun City. At their Activate South Africa events, Pastor Sarah, who’s famous for her stylish outfits, did all she could to look amazing while supporting South African designers.

For the first evening, Pastor Sarah was styled by the famous stylist J Bolin and wore a dress by local designer David Tlale. When she was in Johannesburg, she appeared at Rhema Bible Church North wearing an outfit from South African luxury brand called MaXhosa.

Pastors Sarah Jakes and Touré Roberts Share on Their African Experience

Pastor Sarah reflected on her visits to the African continent, saying she’s grateful to have been able visit Africa twice in one year. She first visited Nigeria and then came to South Africa where she even received special names in each place. In Nigeria they named her “Ugochinyere Ifeoma” and in South Africa she was given the name Naledi which means Star.”

On Instagram, Sarah shared how the brand MaXhosa, created by award-winning designer Laduma Ngxokolo, sent her a dress after her luggage got stuck in Cape Town.

She wrote, “I’m so humbled by God’s presence, it shows up in ways that refresh and restore me in ways I could not have imagined.”
