Joyous Celebration Return to Carnival City this Easter Weekend Once Again
Award winning gospel group Joyous Celebration will be returning to fill up Carnival City’s biggest venue this Easter Weekend.
This is one of the Easter shows to watch out for as we approach Good Friday from the Friday the 15th of April 2022 and the rest of the Easter Weekend festivities. Millions of people around the world observe the faith based holiday to celebrate the Passover and also commemorate the death and resurrection of the Chosen One, Jesus Christ.
Why Carnival City Again?
Joyous Celebration is celebrating the Easter weekend with their fans after two long years of Covid-19 restrictions on mass gatherings. The MTN Joyous 26 live show will be held at Carnival City’s biggest venue in Johannesburg, on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April, three days in a row. As always, like previous years pre-covid-19 the 3-day run promises to be an unmatched praise, worship and anointing atmosphere. They also offered livestream tickets this time around for those who prefer to watch the event for the Saturday show live from the comfort of their homes.
Performing Joyous Celebration 26 Latest Album
Joyous will be preforming their latest album Joyous Celebration 26, titled JOY. The MTN Joyous Celebration 26 offering was recorded earlier this year on the 5th of March 2022 and released on the 8th of April. The tracks such as ‘I am a winner’, ‘Wangihlawulela’, ‘Tende medley; and ‘O Bonste’ have been topping the gospel charts since the album release.
Fans can watch the show online on their new website www.joyoustv.com, this is an option for those who cannot be part of the audience at the venue at Carnival City. MTN customers who have the perks will be able to stream this online for free on the www.joyoustv.com on Saturday.
New Voices at Joyous Celebration
Joyous Celebration received over 8 000 entries from the #ShareYourLight online talent hopefuls from all over the country but had to choose the TOP 10 contestants. The newly recruited talent joined the MTN Joyous Celebration cast members and Founders Jabu Hlongwane, Lindelani Mkhize and Mthunzi Namba for an intense three-day mentorship Programme.
The ultimate winner/s of the #ShareYourLight online talent search competition will be announced at the show on the Easter Weekend at Carnival City.
