Bucy has always known she wanted to follow her passion in music from a young in the church choir, then jazz and even performed Opera at the South African State Theatre. After many rejections she got a chance to serve as a backing vocalist to gospel artists Tebs David, Solly Mahlangu as well as Mmatema Moremi, Takie Ndou and Zaza to name a few. Her following grew even bigger when she joined the popular Spirit of Praise 7 project.

Stage presence

Her energy, sincerity and love for God when she is on stage is amazing to watch when she is performing her music. In the live recorded album by Bucy Radebe she sings hymns that we grew up listening to in church with a touch of her magic. It was recorded at Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mahikeng.
