See the official announcement of the 13th edition of the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards 2020 nominees list that was delivered by executive producer Zanele Mbokazi- Nkambule on the 20th of October 2020. Congratulations to all the 2020 Crown Gospel Music Awards nominees, well done on your notable contributions and ministry. Lets keep them all in our prayers so that their gifts, talents and ministries may continue to flourish win or no win.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic there was no official Crown Gospel Music Awards all white nominees party this year as usual but instead nominees were announced on a Facebook Live event.
The 2020 SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards event will be pre-recorded on the 13th November due to Covid-19 restrictions but will be broadcast on 29th November on national television.
Firstly, there are five categories that are open for public voting, the one with most votes wins. Zanele urged the nominees in these categories to use their energy to campaign for votes and not complain in the end. The public can vote for the following 5 categories;
– Best Gospel Song, Best Gospel Artist, Best Gospel Radio Show, Best Gospel Community Radio Show, Best AmaZion (Solo/Group)
