Khaya Mthethwa and Rorisang Host the 16th SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards
The SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards took place in Gauteng for the first time on the 26th of November 2023.
They were held at FNB Stadium in a Marquee built with all the bells and whistles for the main event hosted by fan favorites Khaya Mthethwa and Rorisang Thandekiso.

The awards were not broadcasted live again this year leaving many fans disappointed. The Crown Gospel Music Award will be broadcasted on SABC 2 (DSTV 192) on Sunday 3rd of December 2023 at 19:30.
Congratulations to all the nominees and well done to the winners of the Crown Gospel Music Awards who took the crown home.
Winner’s of the night include Tebs David, Swazi Dlamini, Sindi Ntombela, 3C live and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to ‘Masibuyele kuJehovah’ for their 35 years contribution in the Gospel Music Industry.
Some of the biggest awards of the evening for Best Gospel Artist went to Canaan Nyathi and Best Gospel Song went Jumbo.
Other big winners in Gospel Music that made waves recently Ntokozo Mbambo for the SAMA’s Best Album and Betusile Mcinga for the Metro FM Awards were not part of the nominees for this year at the Crown Gospel Music Awards.
