Award winning singer and song writer Khaya Mthethwa has joined TV & radio personality Thami Ngubeni on Metro FM’s Sunday morning show. The all new Sacred Space aired it’s first show on the 3rd of September 2017 and was welcomed with warm arms such that it trended at number 1 on Twitter with #TheSacredSpace hashtag.
The new show’s line-up was revealed on Metro FM’s Fresh Breakfast Show where DJ Fresh interviewed both Thami Ngubeni and Khaya Mthethwa. Many of Thami Ngubeni’s fans were upset about the change at first & some were confused because they thought she might be leaving the station as well.
However the new show is still called The Sacred Space and starts from 6-9 Am but with a new vibey atmosphere to it. The show includes features such as a gospel mix by Dj Fresh, My testimony in song, New find and the kiddies slot called Sacred sunday school among others.
My Sunday mornings are usually busy and I find myself station hoping in between my chores before Church. I think there are other radio stations that can also benefit from a revamp on their Sunday morning shows , don’t you think so? I am loving the all new Sacred Space on Metro FM, like most people nami I am for it.
