American gospel sensation Bishop TD Jakes joined the All Star Gospel concert as the headline act at the 2017 Essence Festival in Durban, South Africa. The Essence Festival Durban installment started on the 26th and ended with a show stopping gospel concert on the 1st of October at the ICC arena.
The bishop was joined on stage by South Africa’s Joyous Celebration choir who recently did a live recording with TD Jakes in Dallas for the Joyous Celebration 21st project. The Essence Festival All Star Gospel concert included local artists such as Thulani kaNdlela, Malusi Mbokazi and two young stars who stole the show.
