
In the mist of controversy around his government President Jacob Zuma was also part of the Easter celebrations that took place from Friday until Sundày. President Zuma attended the Good Friday service at the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. The church met at the iconic 60 000 seater Ellis Park Stadium and was filled to capacity with believers from its branches around South Africa.
In his easter message Jacob Zuma thanked all the pastors for their prayers and said that they should also remember those in hospitals in their prayers. Zuma also said ” Pray for us‚ pray for the leaders‚ pray for the jobs‚ and pray for crime to go away. Pray for peace and pray for the love of God to be with us‚”.
On Ressurection Sunday President Zuma then visited abapostili formally Twelve Apostoles Church in Christ (TACC) at their regional meeting in Durban, Umgababa.
