The Joyous Celebration team had a surprise gift in store for the unsuspecting Sbu Noah.

The three-day event showcased songs from their newly released 26th album, titled β€œJoy,” plus some of the fan favorite hits from the last two decades. Sbu Noah spent is his Easter Weekend with the Joyous Celebration group and Lindelani Mkhize handed over a surprise gift to him on stage.

Joyous Celebration celebrated Sbu Noah for having reached double platinum on his single ‘Ewe Getsemane’ , and ‘A David Kind Of Psalm.’ Sbu Noah’s also reached gold status for his single ‘Zundikhaphe’ which is a song he dedicated to his late mother. They handed a plaque to him on stage and celebrated the success of his solo career. Sbu was pleasantly surprised by the act and even shed a tears or two of joy as he thanked his fans, team and all those who supported him on his A David Kind Of Psalm project.

In his thank you response he also mentioned his late mom and looked back at the disappointments he went through at the SAMA and Crown Awards. He ended his thank you speech saying he is motivated and inspired to do even greater things.

We don’t do this for acknowledgement, but it feels damn good when it comes cause really we work hard! To God be all the glory! I’m motivated and inspired! Let’s do even greater things! More lives need to be saved, sinikiwe amandla negunya. I love you all
