They handed a plaque to him on stage and celebrated the success of his solo career. Sbu was pleasantly surprised by the act and even shed a tears or two of joy as he thanked his fans, team and all those who supported him on his A David Kind Of Psalm project.

In his thank you response he also mentioned his late mom and looked back at the disappointments he went through at the SAMA and Crown Awards. He ended his thank you speech saying he is motivated and inspired to do even greater things.

We don’t do this for acknowledgement, but it feels damn good when it comes cause really we work hard! To God be all the glory! I’m motivated and inspired! Let’s do even greater things! More lives need to be saved, sinikiwe amandla negunya. I love you all
